Are your teas vegan?You’ll be happy to know that almost all of our teas are vegan-friendly! The only exception is our Golden Honeycomb blend, which contains bee pollen. Every blend is delicious on its own or with a splash of your favourite plant-based milk - we personally love oat milk, as it pairs beautifully with our brews and brings out those cosy, comforting flavours. What is the shelf life of your teas?Our teas have a Best Before date of around 12 months, and we always aim to send out blends that have at least 6 months left on the clock. The lovely thing about tea is that, when stored in a cool, dry place, it often stays fresh and flavourful even beyond the Best Before date. We recommend checking the label on your pouch for the exact date and giving your tea a good sniff and sip — if it still smells magical, it’s likely good to brew!

Do you have caffeine-free or decaf teas?We do! Bard’s Brews offers a lovely selection of naturally caffeine-free teas, along with blends that are low or medium in caffeine if you're just looking to cut back. To make it easy, we list the caffeine content (none, low, or medium) in the ingredients section of each product page. You can also use the caffeine filter in our shop to browse based on your preference — whether you're after something totally calming or a gentle pick-me-up. What does 'natural flavourings' mean?You might spot ‘natural flavourings’ listed in some of our blends - and here’s what that really means: these are components, extracts, essences, or oils that come entirely from natural raw materials. They’re called natural because they’re derived from nature, not synthetic or chemical alternatives. A classic example? Earl Grey, which uses natural bergamot oil to create its iconic citrusy note. At Bard’s Brews, we work with a trusted supplier who ensures all natural flavourings are fully compliant with Food Standards Agency (FSA) regulations. They contain no artificial additives, no major allergens, and typically make up less than 1% of a tea blend. We also offer plenty of blends - including many bestsellers - that are free from any added flavourings. What’s the calorie content in your teas?Almost all of our teas are so light and lovely that their calorie content after brewing is negligible - even the ones with fruit pieces! Because the calories are so low, they fall below the threshold required for food labelling.

Can I return my order?We do accept returns and would be happy to issue a refund or gift voucher for products sent back to us within 30 days of purchase. All items must be returned in their original condition, unopened and unused. To start a return, just email us at contact@bardsbrews.com with your order number, a quick note about the reason for the return, and whether you'd prefer a refund, gift voucher, or exchange. If you'd like to swap your tea for a different blend, let us know which one you have in mind, and we’ll do our best to make it happen! Once we receive your return, we’ll confirm it’s arrived safely and process your request straight away.

What should I do if something in my order is damaged, faulty, or missing?We take great care in packing your order, but if something arrives damaged, an item is missing, or something’s not quite right, don’t worry — we’re here to help! Just send us a message at contact@bardsbrews.com with your order number and a quick description (photos are helpful too if there’s damage), and we’ll make it right as soon as possible. Depending on the issue, we’ll offer a replacement. If that doesn’t suit, we’re also happy to provide a refund or a gift voucher to use anytime in our online shop.

What if I don’t love my tea?At Bard’s Brews, your happiness is at the heart of everything we do — truly. We know taste can be a personal thing, so if you’re not 100% delighted with your brew, just get in touch with us at contact@bardsbrews.com. We’ll be happy to help you find a better match and send you a replacement blend you’re more likely to love. While we always strive to keep our customers smiling, we do reserve the right to decline a request if we believe the guarantee is being misused. We appreciate your understanding.

Where is my order?We use Royal Mail for our 48hr and 24hr services, both of which are fully tracked. Your dispatch email will include a link to track your parcel and your unique tracking number. Most orders arrive on time (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays), but occasionally delays do happen - especially during busy seasons or due to factors outside our control. If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 working days, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at contact@bardsbrews.com. We’ll be happy to help you track it down. Also, if you haven’t received a dispatch email or if your tracking info looks odd, just pop us a message and we’ll look into it right away.

How long does it take for my order to be processed and dispached?We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1–3 working days, and most parcels arrive shortly after that, depending on the shipping method you choose at checkout. As a small business, we lovingly pack each order by hand - so while we do our best to stay speedy, there may be the occasional delay during busy periods. If we ever anticipate a longer wait, we’ll do our best to keep you in the loop. Thank you so much for your patience and support - it truly means the world to us!

Do you ship internationally?We’d love to share our brews far and wide, but at the moment we don’t offer international shipping — and here’s why: the cost of sending our teas overseas is currently just too high for us to feel good about passing that expense on to you. We’re a small business, and while we’re dreaming of future ways to bring Bard’s Brews to international tea lovers (affordably and sustainably!), for now we’re focusing on making the best possible experience for our UK customers. Thank you so much for your understanding — and if you’re outside the UK, we hope to reach your corner of the world someday soon.

How much is UK shipping and how long will it take to arrive?You can find all our current UK shipping rates and delivery timeframes here on our Delivery page. We aim to get your brews to you as swiftly as possible, and our estimates are based on the service levels provided by our trusted couriers. That said, there can occasionally be delays that are outside our control — thank you in advance for your patience if that happens!

What if I entered the wrong address?If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we may still be able to update the address for you — just email us as soon as possible at contact@bardsbrews.com and we’ll do our best to make the change in time. Unfortunately, once an order has been handed over to Royal Mail, we’re unable to amend the shipping address. In that case, we recommend contacting your local delivery office to see if they can assist.
